Former Loyola swingman Donte Ingram is set to work out with the New York Knicks June 19, he confirmed to The Phoenix. This’ll be Ingram’s second workout with the Knicks.
Donte Ingram tells me he has a workout with the New York Knicks tomorrow. This is his second time in front of Knicks brass; he had a private workout in Chicago a while back.

The Chicago native has worked out with 10 NBA teams — including the Knicks, Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves — as he looks to become the first Rambler to be selected in the NBA Draft since Andre Moore and Bernard Jackson were both drafted in 1987. Former Loyola guard Milton Doyle signed an NBA Summer League contract and, later, a two-way contract with the Brooklyn Nets last year as an undrafted free agent.
After averaging 11 ppg and 6.4 rpg during his senior season, Ingram was named second team All-Missouri Valley Conference, Arch Madness MVP and NCAA South Regional All-Tournament team. Ingram also hit the game-winning shot in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament against University of Miami March 15, giving Loyola its first March Madness victory since 1985.
The NBA Draft is set for June 21 at 6 p.m. CDT on ESPN.
